Following the foundation of Theta Fondo 8, the Company’s Board of Directors has chosen to once again support two foundations engaged in the assistance of children and young people, with the aim of promoting and accelerating their collaboration in the field of disability care.

The Maria Letizia Verga Committee Association, founded in 1979, is dedicated to supporting children with leukemia and their families. The Committee is involved in all activities, from research to treatment and care, and is, to all intents and purposes, considered a public hospital.

The Association provides children with leukemia and lymphoma treated at the Maria Letizia Verga Center – Monza and Brianza Foundation for the Child and his Mother with access to the most advanced research, highly qualified medical care, and psychosocial support, to ensure them the best possible chances of recovery and the highest quality of life.

Thanks to advances in research, today more than 85% of children with leukemia or lymphoma recover, compared to 30% in 1979..

The Foundation supports families of children with neuromotor disabilities by providing medical care, social support, psychological assistance, and training on topics relevant to parents dealing with these conditions.

The Foundation is also directly involved in medical research to explore new ways of improving treatment outcomes for childhood neuromotor disorders.
