Kappa Fondo X: Charity

Following the launch of Kappa Fondo X, the Company’s Board of Directors once again decided to support two foundations dedicated to assisting children, young people, and women, with the aim of providing housing and educational services to help prevent social exclusion and school dropout.

Casa Benefica was established in 1896 at the initiative of Luigi Martini, then Chief Magistrate of Turin, with the aim of providing residential care for disadvantaged children.

Today, after nearly 130 years of activity, Casa Benefica continues to operate throughout Turin and its metropolitan area, managing integrated residential and educational services for women, children, and families in vulnerable situations. Through specialised staff and dedicated facilities, the organisation supports vulnerable individuals by preventing social exclusion, assisting mothers and children (La Magnolia Community), providing shelter for women who are victims of domestic violence (Casa Rifugio), and promoting housing, employment, and social inclusion to foster resilience, recovery, and long-term independence.

Throughout its history, Casa Benefica has worked closely with the social welfare network, in collaboration with the Piedmont Regional Government, the Municipality of Turin, and the municipalities within the Turin metropolitan area.

Mercurio Association was established in 2014 as a non-profit social promotion organisation and operates across Milan and the Lombardy region.

The Association’s mission is to help combat school dropout and educational disengagement by providing equal opportunities for growth and inclusion to children and young people from vulnerable backgrounds and disadvantaged socio-economic contexts.

It develops educational initiatives focused on supporting, training, and empowering young people, with the aim of creating social value and fostering their positive emotional development.

The Association works alongside the public school system through targeted projects across a wide range of fields, including arts and creativity, science and technology, career guidance, and student motivation. Mercurio has also long been committed to supporting young people in the challenging transition from school to the workplace, providing tailored tools, practical experiences, and mentoring to help them plan and build their future.
